Came to check out this tiny little spot that did not disappoint. We are fans of Colombian cuisine and super critical since it is native to my adoptive parents. The food was delicious, shout out to the salad, it was very impressive! The meats were perfectly cooked and overall we were satisfied. Sidenote: The menus in-house do not have prices, which I found a little odd. All line items default to MP - Market Price, but they weren't serving seafood. I'm not familiar with every item on a menu being market price. And after the bill came I was a bit shocked that the food was so expensive.
The hostess was sweet and was able to seat us prior to closing. She was so sweet and accomodating and was very informative about the delicious homemade juices. You should come here for the arepas AND the juices/smoothies. Our waiter, Steve, was very engaging and laughs were had. He was very attentive and recommended a delicious coffee flan!
Absolutely delicious! Good value too. The staff were very nice and it’s a cute (albeit smallish) interior. They also host watch parties for Colombian soccer games, which I think is incredible! I will be back. You must get the spicy sauce, it’s like chimichurri on steroids.
Incredible Arepa, and the fresh fruit drinks were lovely. We got blackberry and mango. Highly recommend this place. Also this salsa are wonderful and Steven was an excellent host.

We came here for late lunch with my Colombian in-laws, and it was a fantastic meal. Great, prompt service, good food, good music, and as a person with a dairy allergy, I appreciated the clearly marked menu! Definitely coming back!
What a fun & delicious spot by Humboldt Park. We had a group of 7, but the server was super nice about it and offered to split checks up front. There is a service fee for groups of 6 or more which added a few bucks to each check but totally worth it since service was excellent and friendly! Also food came out promptly. I highlight recommend the beef empanadas or trying one of the many Arepas they offer. Next time I would try the veggie one which looked really good. I got the chicken and mushroom one- it came with a TON of gooey melted cheese. I was expecting chopped chicken but it was more of a stewed, shredded chicken which is more traditional. Overall great vibe in the place, very casual and bright Easy street parking on side streets just watch for street cleaning signs otherwise it’s pay for park on the busy street.
ropa vieja arepa was really good and flavorful! Will definitely be coming back here more often. Our waiter Steven was really nice and attentive. Thank you !
